On Saturday 24 October we held a formation workshop for members of Parish
Pastoral Councils. We were so grateful to all those who attended from 15
parishes around the Perth Archdiocese.

We spent time looking at a simplified way of pastoral planning using a booklet
written by Leisa Anslinger & Jessica Garceau called “Embracing Parish Renewal”.

We also had two testimonies from Carol Ann Norris of the St Thomas More,
Bateman and Fr Cyprian Shikokoti of Our Lady of the Mission, Whitford sharing
about the positive outcomes of an initiative developed by the Parish Renewal
Team called “Adsumus – journeying together led by the Spirit”.

This was a wonderful opportunity for parish leaders to gather together and
share, allowing us to feel more connected on this journey.
