The initial May gathering of several parishes was on 11th May at the Kalamunda Parish Centre with twenty four (24) attendees, representing seven (7) parishes namely Maddington, Lesmurdie, Kalamunda, Gosnells, Maida Vale, Thornlie and Baldivis.

Bishop Don Sproxton, Episcopal Vicar for Parish Renewal, opened the half-day session and introduced the collaborative initiative known as Parish Hubs.  Fr Nino Vinciguerra, Fr Stan Bendkowski, Fr Geoff Aldous and Mr Renay Grech were among the presenters who shared insights in hub formation which were well received by the participants.
